Back in Florida
Peace be with you. We’re back in Florida after a long summer in Colorado full of ministry and classes. Thank you for your prayers as we finished the support raising training for our Korean missionaries who serve in the U.S. These Korean missionaries serve the campus ministry in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, and L.A. sharing the gospel and discipling students. Please pray that God provides great ministry partners for them as they serve in ministry.
Preparation for a New Semester
Coming back from the summer ministry we have a new semester already waiting for us. Since Damien became a team leader he has more responsibility so our prayers are only increasing. The semester is beginning and we’ve been in the planning process over the course of the summer. It’s hard to believe we are already at the end of the summer. We’ve been praying and meeting with our team, as we pray and prepare for the training and conference ministry to come. Our team will be helping to lead nearly 50 trainings and conferences for college students and missionaries in this school year. We are so excited thinking about the lost who will come to Christ and see their lives changed through the gospel being shared both here and all over the world. Please pray that our team of missionaries continues to work together in unity and that Damien leads the team well.
Thankful
We attended Heritage Night during Cru15, our U.S. missionary conference. Heritage Night is a celebration of missionary service with hundreds of senior missionaries who have served longer than 15 years. We were thankful for and challenged by the humility and obedience of those who have served. We strive to live humble lives like those who have served as missionaries for 40+ years.
We can continue serving in ministry because of your love and prayerful support. Thank you for your wonderful partnership with us.
Blessings!
Prayer Requests
1. Fall New Missionary Training (September 10th – 20th, Florida): 100 new missionaries will attend this training. Most of them were recent college graduates who served short term overseas as missionaries and are now joining us long term. Some others had careers they are now leaving to become missionaries. Please pray that God prepares their hearts and provides for their needs as missionaries. Pray that those of us preparing this training are filled with the Holy Spirit.
2. Pray that God takes care of Jung Hye’s grandmother’s and mother’s health. Pray for our sister and brother who are their primary care givers. And pray that each member of our family meets Christ and goes deeper in their relationship with God.
3. Pray for our health spiritually and physically and that God gives us a baby in His time.
