(This was written for November 2015. I apologize for the very delayed publishing.)
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may 7inish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
-Acts 20:24
Peace be with you in Christ. How have you been? Recently there have been many dif7iculties in the world. Pray with us that we 7inish our race and complete the task God given us in these hard times.
This past year there has also been much to be thankful for:
From last December we are thankful for the nearly 1000 foreign students from Asia, the Middle East, India, and Africa that got to hear the Gospel during the winter conference where we served.
From January we are thankful for the nearly 300 short-term missionaries serving in Africa, Europe, and the Middle-East for one to two years who were refreshed and challenged to life long missionary service.
From February we are thankful for the 250 national campus leaders who shared vision and direction for the next year. We are especially thankful that our leaders focused us in prayer and conversation on our current state of ministry to all ethnicities and our strategic goals for reaching ethnic students.
From March we are thankful that nearly 3000 Cru students came to be trained in evangelism during their spring break. We are thankful they had spiritual conversations with 13,096 people, shared the Gospel with 5,577 and saw 563 pray to receive Christ!
From April Damien became the Cru National Campus Office Conference Team Leader. We are thankful that God has given Damien the opportunity to serve our team with love and humility.
From May and September we are thankful that we got to help train 123 people to become full-time missionaries.
From June and July we are thankful that we could take 4 seminary classes and attend Cru’s US missionary conference. We praise and thank God for what we have been able to hear about how He is at work from missionaries all over the world.
From October and November we are thankful we could meet with Cru’s other US based conference teams (photo below) to build relationships and to refocus us all as we prepare for another year of ministry. We are all focused on the same goal of building movements of Christ centered laborers everywhere, simply doing that in different places.
Hallelujah! God has given us an amazing year. Thank you for your prayerful support this year. With your partnership, we pray for fruitful ministry next year as well.
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!
