More Than Enough

Peace be with you.  How are the changing seasons treating you? We returned to the Mediterranean less than two weeks after getting back to the US from the Global Church Movement “Bold Moves 2” in Greece.  50 fund development missionary leaders from around the world came together and attended the training themed “More than Enough” from 2 Corinthians 9:8.

We discussed best practices and trained in how to develop ministry partners to continue funding the mission beyond personal level needs around the globe.  Each area of the world has different realities but we all have the same vision to help fulfill the Great Commission. Missionary teams and whole country ministries can focus more on sharing the gospel because of the contributions of people like these.  Still, missionaries and ministries around the world face many financial challenges. Please pray that God sends them faithful ministry partners who give to the corporate, team, and personal needs of their ministries.  Pray that God provides the missionary’s and ministry’s needs so that they can serve in the way that God called them. 

Dan Willmann, the Executive VP of Global Fund Development, encouraged us all saying: “God is more than enough. We ask Him for a drink, but He gives a waterfall cascading over us. God blesses us so we can bless others. He is the source.”  Thank you for being a pathway of blessing for people around the world through your partnership in prayer, finance, and love.  Your partnership is a great strength and joy to us. Prayer Requests:

  1. Ending the Year with Travel:  We will have a very travel full November starting with the Global Briefing at the end of October ending in December.  Pray that God gives us good health and leads our events as we serve as unto the Lord.
  2. Leader Impact Conference (November 19 - 23, Manila, Philippines): We are preparing for a conference where influential Christian global leaders attend, network and share their vision.  Pray that God sends the attendees safely and that they become more and more leaders who bring influence for Christ to their circles all over the world.
  3. Family: Please pray that we walk with God moment by moment becoming more and more a family filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray the Lord gives us spiritual and physical strength to serve Him and pray that God gives us a baby in His time.
