Peace be with you. We pray you are staying healthy this summer. We are learning many things through COVID -19. As all ministry has changed to be online, we haven’t slowed down but actually been twice as active as before. We are seeing great fruit by God’s grace. We pray that you are experiencing His peace, grace, and provision in these unique times.

Global Church Movement Bold Moves Conference
One of the online only events we supported this month was “Bold Moves” which comes out of Cru’s Global Church Movements (GCM) ministry. Bold Moves is a time to inspire acceleration of church multiplication. In previous years a few hundred GCM staff and church planting partners were able to gather for the Bold Moves conferences. This year we had over 1,300 attend online from around the world. Our control center was mostly in a Florida church social distancing but with speakers joining us from all across the globe. We had 225 online breakout groups with 8 languages to discuss and apply the topics. Some would think during the pandemic that church planting would come to a halt, but God had different plans. There are many reports but one example comes from Ethiopia. GCM missionaries there faced the challenge of many parts of the country having poor internet service. But they also had potential with most church planters in country having smart phones. Not worrying about what they didn’t have but what they could do, they started a daily set of text messages to train staff and volunteers. What started with 9,000+ people receiving these texts grew to 63,000+ in just a few days. Impressive, but we see the work of God in the results of having some 200 churches planted through this initiative!
Bold Moves Control Center
Online events and even text messaging is a gift from God that allows us to help expand His Kingdom even when we are at home. God is using this time in history to accelerate the fulfillment of His Great Commission. All over the world God’s people are facing the pandemic by pointing their neighbors to the one who can heal their body and soul.

Prayer Requests:
- Bold Moves Conference (August 4th, Online): The next part of the Bold Moves series will be held August 4th. Pray that the program and preparations go well. Pray it will be a time of God sized vision, challenge, and encouragement to the church planters.
- Global Alliance for Church Multiplication Forum (Sept 15 - 16, Online): This event is focused on increasing the global momentum towards seeing one church for every 1000 people in every place. Collaboration is a key part of seeing that vision realized. There will be missionaries from more than 90 church planting organization and churches. Please pray that we follow the Holy Spirit’s lead as He prepares everyone’s hearts to finish the work before us.
- Family: Please pray that we walk with God moment by moment becoming more and more a family filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray the Lord gives us spiritual and physical strength to serve Him and pray that God gives us a baby in His time.
