Shalom! Peace be with you. We have returned to the States after a long journey. The Global Church Movements conference we’ve been preparing for near 8 months was held in Thailand. About 300 mission focused church planters and partners from 110 countries gathered to pray, share testimonies, listen to the word, share strategies, and be aligned in their vision. After the conference, we are receiving reports from the missionaries and partners who returned to each country about how they are training leaders, partnering with churches, and making disciple in each country for healthy church planting. Please pray that through them healthy churches will be created, multiplying disciples grown, and spiritual movements built boldly all over the world.
In Korea…
After the conference in Thailand, we got to visit Korea. To say we were happy to visit Korea for first time since we heard the name Covid19 is an understatement. We were excited and grateful to meet our niece born during the pandemic for the first time, see our family, and visit with ministry partners. It was a blessed time as we day by day got to remember and experience the love and encouragement we receive from you, our partners, face to face. Meeting, sharing life, and pray together was precious to us. Time truly flew while we were in Korea and while we are sad we couldn’t meet with you all, we look forward to being able to reconnect with each of you. We are so thankful for your faithfully partnership as we serve with one heart in Christ. You are in our prayers and we pray the grace and blessing of God be with you and your family. In Orlando…
Damien served for the last 2 years and Jung Hye for the last year as trainers of Cru interns. Serving as trainers was also a time for us to check ourselves and grow. Now, after having completed their internships they are obeying God’s calling by faith. Jung Hye’s intern Yunjeong Kim, will serve as a ministry virtual space designer for missions at Campus Crusade in Korea. Damien’s trainee, Isaiah Moore will take part in a Biblical Study Institute to continue developing as a leader in the church. Please pray that God will guide their steps, lead them to the partners He has planned for them, and help them lead many to Christ.
Prayer Request
Sabbatical Months (June & July): With prayer we decided to take two sabbath months in June and July. Please pray that during sabbatical we use the time to go deep in relationship with Jesus, the Lord of Sabbath. Pray we become spiritually and physically stronger as we intentionally listen to God’s voice to prepare for future ministry.
