Unknown Ministers

Shalom!  Peace be with you.  We pray that you find strength in Christ during this change of the seasons.  In the last month, we hosted several guests.  These campus missionary friends serve out of Korea and came to America during the Worldwide Day of Prayer to cast vision and pray for the unreached campus ministry they lead called A6 project.  They had another ministry trip to Guatemala after leaving us, but while they stayed in our home and we had a great fellowship.  Several years ago we had the opportunity to help the A6 project by leading a training on how to share the gospel. This was when we heard how God has worked throughout the world via A6 project.  We are very impressed and thankful.  Please pray that through these brothers many people hear the Gospel and become disciples.

After our friends left, Damien went to DC for the Christian Legal Society’s (CLS) National Annual Conference.   Cru has had a partnership with CLS for years.  CLS is the world’s largest Christian legal association.  450 Christian legal professors, students, and lawyers attended this conference for various reasons.  One was to learn about how recent precedents and current litigation will affect in the future of religious liberty.  Another was to encourage one another in the use of their training and passion as Christian legal professionals to help preserve religious freedom in America.  Please pray that these students, judges, and lawyers will continue to grow deeper in love with the Lord and that they will be challenged in their faith as Christian legal people to be the scent of Christ in the courtrooms of America.

Closing out October our team and fellow missionaries with Cru serving all over the US came together for a conference ministry gathering.  There we heard from several people including National Directors who shared about our mission strategy and vision as they relate to conferences.  It was a more practical application and prayer time for those who serve silently behind the scenes, unknown, doing the work of the ministry that is less popular or glamorous but essential.  Pray for us and our fellow unknown ministers who are serving in this way helping give leadership to the training of missionaries and students with the love of Jesus.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and financial partnership with us.  We love and appreciate you.
