I apologize for posting this so late especially to those who only receive our online updates. This was our January and February 2020 combined prayerletter.
Peace be with you. We pray this winter has been kind and that all of your family is healthy especially with the threatening Corona virus. After finishing the LeaderImpact conference in the Philippines we visited Korea to see Jung Hye’s father in the hospital. Dad had second degree burns on his foot but an open heart more than at anytime we’ve seen before. We held his hurt foot and prayed with him every time we visited him in the hospital. We and Jung Hye’s sister got to share the Four Spiritual Laws with dad for the first time. Even though he said he doesn’t believe in Jesus yet we are very grateful for this time. It was progress for a heart that has always been stubborn towards God before. He left the hospital after a one month stay and one surgery. Thank you for your prayers and concerns for Jung Hye’s father. Please pray that the Holy Spirit opens his heart so that he can meet God personally. We pray your unbelieving family members come to know Jesus and God’s great mercy as well.
We started 2020 with the Go2020 Summit. Go2020 is a global vision to see 100 million believers share the gospel during the month of May 2020, to plant 1 million churches, and to integrate 50 million new believers into existing churches. Our meeting was with 110 church and para-church leaders from 60 churches and mission organizations to pray and discuss how we can practically accomplish this vision by partnering together. Go2020 is a vision truly about fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and an encouragement for all believers to accelerate the day it is fulfilled by sharing our faith. Please pray and share with us that many people in the world can hear the Gospel through Go2020.

1. New Global Leader Orientation (Jan 15 - April 22): We are taking the New Global Leader Orientation. Pray that we can become more the leaders God wants us to be so that we can be useful wherever He wants us to serve.
2. JesusFilm Briefing (Feb 17 - 25): The Jesus Film Project is a Cru ministry that shares the Gospel to millions of people around the world. The Jesus Film has been translated into more than 1,600 languages. www.Jesusfilm.org. This month Damien is going to serve the Briefing for JesusFilm ministry partners. Please pray that through this briefing more people catch the vision for partnership and that many more people come to Christ through the Jesus Film as a result.
3. Family: Please pray that we walk with God moment by moment becoming more and more a family filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray the Lord gives us spiritual and physical strength to serve Him and pray that God gives us a baby in His time.
