As a Mother Comforts Peace be with you. We pray you and your family are at peace, finding strength in the Lord. Last month, we returned from serving an event that brought together missionaries from the Middle East. Under the theme of Follow, we acknowledged our identity and calling in Christ, examined the ministry, shared vision, talked strategy, and prepared for future ministry. Above all, it was a time for brothers and sisters working together towards the same calling in Christ to gather together, receive encouragement, and gain new strength. Many missionaries in this part of the world face relentless challenges of surveillance, discrimination, and even explosion. We served praying earnestly that God would deeply comfort these missionaries and their families who carry out the work entrusted to them in difficult situations, just as a mother comforts her child. In Kenya

Peace be with you. Thanks to your prayers, we have safely returned after completing the Global Student Ministry Forum held in Kenya, Africa. Over 300 missionaries who lead campus ministries in 104 countries around the world attended this forum. Since last year, we had been preparing for this forum in prayer together with a team of 16 missionaries, adjusting to each other’s time zones early in the morning and late at night. During the forum, we had the blessing of praying daily with the staff at our accommodation in Kenya, which made the time even more a blessing. Under the theme “Who Else?” we reflected on the truth that only through Jesus can we help fulfill the Great Commission. We prayed over and discussed many topics including questions like: Who else in the Body of Christ is God calling us to partner with? And who are the people who have not yet heard the Gospel and need to hear? Through this forum God renewed our spirits and expanded our vision for His ministry. ...

A Summer Full of Expectation

‘ Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.’ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV Peace be with you. We pray that you stay strong and encouraged in the Lord even in the hot summer. As we prepare for our summer ministries, we are also taking time to receive some necessary medical care. By God’s grace and your prayers Damien’s leg pain is gradually improving and Jung Hye is soon scheduled to see a specialist for the back pain she’s been enduring for some time. Through this period of waiting and discomfort we’ve been asking: What is God wanting us to learn through this season? We believe He desires for us to rely on Him even more deeply no matter the challenges we face. This summer, though our bodies may feel weak, we long to trust in the Lord more fully, rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, and giving thanks in all circumstances. Thank you! Merry Christmas! We sincerely thank you for partnering with us with your prayers and love. This Thanksgiving we were filled with gratitude as we confessed and reflected on 2024. We are thankful for His grace and love. We are thankful for how God guided us with His word, encouraged, provided for our needs in His way, and sent us faithful ministry partners this year. We’re thankful for your prayerful partnership which allowed us to successfully serve in the ministries entrusted to us. Thank you. We’re thankful we were able to serve many global conferences and local missionaries this year. In all this we are thankful God gave us the opportunity to prepare the next generation by creating conference ministry resources and trainings for them. Thank you!
