Go Make Disciples

 Global Church Movement Conference

Christ is risen! We have returned from Ethiopia after the Global Church Movement Conference. Even amidst the conflict in the Middle East, with God’s guidance and your intercessory prayers, we had safe travels. Thank you.

Around 350 missionaries from more than 85 countries around the world, engaged in evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and partnering with local churches to mobilize spiritual movements, joined us. During the conference, we meditated on John 15, focusing on the truth that abiding fully in Jesus is the foundation of healthy leadership and fruitful ministry. It was a meaningful time of praying for one another, sharing ministry needs, and developing strategies together.

We were especially thankful for the opportunity to meet with young missionaries from Ethiopia, share our vision for ministry, pray together, and have fellowship. God has placed a heart for the next generation within us, so this connection is both moving and deeply gratifying as we get to be part of raising up young leaders in Ethiopia. Before we left, the local brothers and sisters came to see us off, asking us to return to help develop them in ongoing ways. We are praying and looking forward to meeting them again in the future. Please join us in prayer that through these young missionary leaders, many more people will come to know Jesus as their Lord in Ethiopia, Africa, and around the world.

We sincerely thank you for faithfully partnering with us, for your love and support.  If you have any prayer requests, please feel free to share them with us. We’d love to pray together with you.

Prayer Requests

CCC International Student Ministry Forum: Missionaries serving international students from 12 countries will gather in Korea. It will be a precious time to share vision, training, and ministry strategies for reaching international students with the gospel in each nation. Pray that through this gathering, the gospel may be shared more effectively among international students worldwide and that God will grant us wisdom and power in every part of the process.

Visit to Korea: After the CCC International Student Ministry Forum, Jung Hye will stay in Korea for a short period. During this time, she will spend a few days at her father’s home. Pray that Jung Hye’s father, who recently underwent lung cancer surgery, will have an opportunity to open his heart to God, and that his entire treatment process will go smoothly, leading to full recovery.

South East South Asia All Missionary conference: We will be helping lead a gathering of approximately 1,500 missionaries from across Southeast & South Asia. Pray that God safely guides the steps of all who attend. Pray that through this conference, all the missionaries are spiritually renewed to go back into the fields for harvest with greater clarity in the vision and calling God has given them.
