Peace be with you. How's the summer weather treating you? This summer we're experiencing God's presence as we serve at the ministry's staff conference in Colorado. As we shared previously, we've been serving here while taking seminary courses and helping run the conference. Thank you for praying with us. For the past 5 weeks in Colorado, we've had many differing trainings, seminary courses, and conferences for the missionaries that work with Cru.
The training highlights on our list for this summer are: the 179 new staff who are joining us on the mission field. These new missionaries are going to America and all over the world. Next are the 110 missionaries who are being developed through leadership training. We also have 115 missionaries taking overseas missions training (the same training we took last summer) before they are sent internationally. And there are 633 missionaries including us who are taking seminary courses. If you've ever taken a short intensive course then you know we are all studying hard, but beyond that we are seeing God grow us in our interpretation and use of His word. We both prepared sermons for our final assignments. This was Jung Hye’s first English sermon. She was a little nervous, but by God’s grace we both finished our sermons and classes well. Thanks be to God!
From July 14th through the remainder of the summer we will help run the Cru US Staff conference. Please pray that God’s presence will be with us as we serve and that we receive His heart and vision during the conference. Please pray the same for the 4,500 missionaries and 1,960 missionary kids.

Another exciting thing about this summer is that 3,000 Cru students went on summer projects to share the Gospel in America and overseas. We met personally with some of the summer project students who are helping with this summer's ministry from Colorado. Pray that what we shared, taught, and challenged them with about serving full time in ministry will stay with them. Please pray that they are emboldened by The Lord to share the Gospel so that many lost come back to God.
As the summer nears its close, we are reminded that we could not be here serving and training without you. We are very encouraged by your prayerful support. We love and thank you.
