Shalom!  Peace be with you.  How have you been in this hot summer?  We were in Colorado to run Cru’s short-term international missionary team leader training and attend the Cru US Staff Conference.  We just got back to Orlando.

STINT Missionary Team Leaders Training
Short-term Intl. missionary team leaders took this training to prepare for their roles as team leaders. These 70 leaders will be leading teams to Europe, Russia, East Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East starting in August for 1 or 2 years.  56 countries in total!  Please pray that God leads their steps and that many all over the world come to Christ through them.

Cru US Staff Conference
5,000 Cru missionaries, 2,000 missionary kids, and 300 ministry partners attended the Cru US Staff Conference.  The theme of conference was “With” to connect With God, With partners, and With others.  It focused on evangelism, partnership, ethnic diversity, and reaching the world.   We met with Jesus, were challenged and refreshed by leaders and speakers for 8 days, and enjoyed seeing missionary family friends we haven’t seen in a long time.  It was good to be with them.  How thankful and encouraged we are that there are co-laborers we can do ministry with together.  It’s a pleasure to be co-laborers and partners with you.  Thank you!

Visiting Korea
We will be leaving soon to go to Korea for Jung Hye’s brother’s wedding.  We’ll meet with family and ministry partners.  This will be the first time for us to visit Korea since Jung Hye’s mom’s funeral.  We’re excited for our brother’s wedding and we’re looking forward to seeing the family and our ministry partners.  Please pray that it will be a meaningful, happy, love filled time.  Pray that we can encourage and support each other well.

Prayer Requests

1. Visiting Korea & Fund Raising: Pray that God prepares the hearts of our future ministry partners while we are visiting Korea.  Pray we will experience God’s faithful provision.   For us to continue serving in full-time missions, our financial goal must be met. We currently have a shortfall of $1,400 monthly.  Pray that we follow God’s lead as we meet ministry partners who will support us with prayers, finances, and love.
2. Campus Ministry reorganization: US Cru is reorganizing to better reach the campus and mission field of today. Please pray that God gives our leaders wisdom as they shape and communicate the way forward smoothly.
3. Family : Pray that God gives us good health and that He gives us a baby in His time.
