God's Provision

Shalom, peace be with you. Before we start our new ministry assignment with the Global Leadership Office on the President’s staff team, we are meeting with churches and new ministry partners God has prepared for us.  We’re introducing them to the ministry and giving them the opportunity to partner with us prayerfully and financially.  We’ve met with friends from Orlando, Georgia, North Carolina, and the Washington DC area.  Some live in far off locals we can’t visit this go around so we video call and give them the opportunity to join our ministry partner team. We have been so encouraged with how meaningful these meetings have been.  God prepared the way for us.  Our ministry partner’s love, new and old, has impressed us.  They are people who give sacrificially and pray with the same heart we have.

Some of our partners are connecting us with other potential partners like it’s their job. At the beginning of last month we needed $1,300/monthly.  As of today we’ve met new partners in the gospel who are joining with us for $655/month and have given one time gifts.  Just $645 monthly left to go. We are experiencing God’s plan in action.  We’re meeting great people and God is providing our needs. Soon we’ll leave for New York City to meet ministry partners then we’ll head to Buffalo.  Please pray that we continue to meet the faithful ministry partners God has prepared.  We are always grateful for your love, prayers, and financial support. It’s a pleasure to be in partnership with you. Thank you.

God’s Guidance

7 years ago when we were serving in Korea, Jung Hye attended a Global leaders conference. During the conference, the missionaries from other countries shared about their ministry needs and prayer requests. One global leader shared about his Ops ministry responsibilities and he wept because he said “I’m in charge of Ops, Finance, IT, conferences, etc… all by myself for the entire country.  I don’t have the man power, finances, resources, know how, or energy to do this many important jobs alone.”

When Jung Hye heard his story, her heart was broken and she started praying that God would allow her to help countries like this one day.  She shared the story with me and we started praying together asking God to prepare us. We didn’t know how or when God would answer. Then at the end of last year, when the Cru Global Leadership Office asked us to consider this role we were surprised and thankful. God answered our prayer.  He prepared us in Korea and America and is giving us the opportunity to help the Global Leaders to build spiritual movements through conferences and trainings. We are thankful for God’s gracious guidance as we pray and prepare for our new ministry role.

Prayer Requests

  1. Meeting with ministry partners:  We have prayerful and financial needs we need to meet before we fully start our new ministry. Please pray that we meet new faithful ministry partners in New York City, Buffalo, and other locals.   Now we need $645/month. Pray that God provides our needs and protects us while we travel.
  2. Family: Please pray that God improves our health and gives us a baby in His time.
