Peace be with you. How have you been? We’ve been full preparing for future and serving conferences for the last two months. Please pray that when we prepare and serve we follow the Holy Spirit’s lead moment by moment and that we serve with the wisdom and power God provides. Most of all, please pray that we serve in ministry with the heart of Christ for each person. We remember and are thankful for your partnership with us in Christ Jesus.
Christian Leadership Alliance Conference
Last fall we received a request from Christian Leadership Alliance who are partners with Cru. They needed help running the conference this year. We joyfully answered yes because we prayed when joining the Global Leadership Office that God would send us wherever people truly needed our help. For 6 months we served with CLA to give leadership and help plan this conference together. Last month one thousand Christian leaders attended this training. Everyday the attendees had a variety of professional breakouts and sessions on leadership from influential leaders. We heard from attendees and CLA leadership that it was the best conference they’ve had in many respects. CLA has asked Jung Hye and I to serve as leaders with them again in 2020. Please pray that God continues to send and use us where His hands and feet are needed. And pray for the attending christian leaders that they become better servant leaders as a result of their training.
Twice a year in the spring and fall we have Cru’s Worldwide Day of Prayer. This April we prepared for and served the Worldwide Day of Prayer. Cru headquarters and worldwide missionaries paused together to pray for the countries, nations, and missionaries around the world for an entire day. When we pray, God works.

Prayer Requests:
- Global Church Movement Conference: We are preparing a Global Church Movement Conference to be held in August. Cru’s Global Church Movement’s vision is to train leaders, partner, plant churches, and multiply disciples to build spiritual movements everywhere. The upcoming conference will train 300 global missionaries for this ministry. Currently you can be praying for people as we help them register and get visas. Please pray for us as we continue to develop the program.
- Family: Please pray that we walk with God moment by moment becoming more and more a family filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray the Lord gives us spiritual and physical strength to serve Him and pray that God gives us a baby in His time.
