Thankful

Peace be with you. How have you been?  Having finished the LeaderImpact Conference in the Philippines we are staying on this side of the world for a while in Korea.  This month, Jung Hye’s diabetic father received second degree burns forcing him to have at least one surgery in his multi week stay in the hospital.  Please pray that his burn treatment goes well, and that our non-believing father will open his heart to Jesus during this season of his life.

We are thankful for your partnership with us. We can share the Gospel, train others, and share the vision of the fulfillment of the great commission to all levels of society through the conferences we help serve because of your love and partnership.  Here are the things we are thankful to have seen God do this year:

At the Global LDHR Leaders Training 13 missionaries from 6 countries came to be trained.  At our Go2020 meetings we shared in the vision of truly seeing the fulfillment of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and the encouragement for all believers to take part in accelerating that day with 61 church and para-church leaders. We helped give leadership to the Christian Leadership Alliance conference where one thousand Christian leaders came to be this trained to better serve their communities and churches through professional breakouts and sessions on leadership from influential leaders.

We went to Cru’s biennial US missionary training conference themed 1 John 4:19, with about 4,600 other US Cru missionaries and 1,300 children.   In Greece at the Global Church Movements training we served the near 270 church planting missionaries and leaders from 85 countries to encourage each other and learn together about how we are to boldly: go, mobilize, multiply, and partner to see the GCM vision of one church planted for every 1,000 people on earth completed.  At the Global Fund Development training and planning conference we served 50 missionary leaders from around the world who focus on raising funds for ministry needs in their areas of world.  We discussed best practices and trained in how to develop ministry partners to continue funding the mission beyond  personal level needs.  The last ministry event we served before coming to Korea was the LeaderImpact Gathering of 50 influential leaders from around the globe who are also strong believers who came together to network and share the vision of using their Leadership, Influence, Finances, and Expertise to see the great commission accelerated.

For these things and so much more in 2019 we are thankful.  We are especially thankful for your prayer, love, and financial partnership with us.  We can serve in these ways because of your partnership.  Thank you.

Prayer Requests:

1. Preparing for 2020:  We have a shortfall of near $1,000 monthly for our personal financial need.  Pray with us for God’s provision and for our connections with ministry partners.

2. Dad’s Hospitalization : Jung Hye’s father’s burns have been more painful than expected, increasing his needed procedures and his stay at the hospital.  Pray that healing comes in such a way that Dad is forced to ask questions about God’s involvement.

3. Family: Please pray that we walk with God moment by moment becoming more and more a family filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray the Lord gives us spiritual and physical strength to serve Him and pray that God gives us a baby in His time.
