Calling

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”  1Peter 1:3

Peace be with you. We share joy and blessings in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. How have you been this Easter season? We pray that you and your family are healthy and having a spring that is full of hope in Jesus.

Calling of Our Family

Before getting married, we had a question for God. “Why did you call us as an international couple?”  If we were of the same ethnicity, language, and culture wouldn’t everything be much easier?  When we prayed about this, God showed us He was increasing our vision for what ministry looked like.  He gave us a heart to serve not just America, Africa, or Asian, but the whole world. We began praying and hoped one day God would let us help and train brothers and sisters in conference ministry all over the world. Praise the Lord, we are seeing that vision gradually come true. Recently due to Covid, we’ve had many global events online which increased our opportunities to hear the needs of the world.  We’ve met missionaries we never met before and grown closer as a result. As we’ve tried and set our new ministry strategies this year we got to meet with leaders in every global ministry of Cru.  God is opening opportunities for us to listen and serve.

We are honored and thankful to see God’s calling for us become reality as we serve and coach for global events ministry. We expect that through training and conferences around the world,  many will come to Jesus, make disciples, and be sent out around the world.  Please pray that the Lord helps us to have humble hearts and pray for wisdom as we seek to build self sustaining ministries.

Pray for Ukraine

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn and grieve with our fellow co-laborers for the people and the gospel in Ukraine and Russia. We have more than 120 national missionaries in Ukraine. Some missionary families need to move out of harm’s way. Some couples and families are being separated as men are called to active military service. Some are staying where they are. Our crisis teams in Europe and the U.S. are in contact with all Ukrainian missionaries to provide whatever assistance they need.

We heard from one missionary who joined the military that he had opportunities to share the Gospel to Ukrainian and Russian soldiers. Please pray that people can meet Jesus deeply even during the war. Please pray that God protects the Ukrainians and pray that this situation will end in God’s way soon. Pray especially for safety as the more severe attacks and shelling come between 2am - 4am local time (7pm -9pm EST). Please pray with us.

Thank you for your partnership in prayer, love, and finance. We pray that you walk with God everyday, and that God provides your needs more than you could ask or think. Blessings.
