In Kenya

Peace be with you. Thanks to your prayers, we have safely returned after completing the Global Student Ministry Forum held in Kenya, Africa. Over 300 missionaries who lead campus ministries in 104 countries around the world attended this forum. Since last year, we had been preparing for this forum in prayer together with a team of 16 missionaries, adjusting to each other’s time zones early in the morning and late at night. During the forum, we had the blessing of praying daily with the staff at our accommodation in Kenya, which made the time even more a blessing.

Under the theme “Who Else?” we reflected on the truth that only through Jesus can we help fulfill the Great Commission. We prayed over and discussed many topics including  questions like: Who else in the Body of Christ is God calling us to partner with? And who are the people who have not yet heard the Gospel and need to hear? Through this forum God renewed our spirits and expanded our vision for His ministry.

Also, it gave us the opportunity to meet with, encourage, and be encouraged by fellow co-workers from around the world through small group gatherings and other sessions, building connections for future collaboration in ministry. In one small group, a missionary from Europe shared that, even though no one is currently responding to the gospel, he still goes to the campus every day to preach. The group encouraged  and prayed for him, admiring his faithfulness despite not yet seeing visible fruit.

Another missionary from a majority muslim country who had long been praying for unreached campuses returned home after the forum and immediately proposed to his family that they move to an area where an unreached campus is located. He and his team members are now praying and planning to pioneer that campus and raise up more disciples there. Please join us in prayer that through these campus missionaries sharing the Gospel with students around the world, we may see God win the campus today and win the world tomorrow.

We share the Great love and grace of Jesus, who died on the cross and rose again for us.

Thank you for praying and partnering with us in His love and grace.

First, the US CCC all-missionary conference then the Europe All Missionary Conference, followed by the Korea New Missionary Vision Trip. Please pray that every step of the preparations would be guided by the Holy Spirit. Pray that God gives us wisdom, prepares the hearts of every attendee, and provides for every need.
  2. Health: Please pray for our health. Jung Hye has back pain and Damien has leg pain. We are currently taking medical exams and treatments. Please pray that we will be fully healed in God’s time.
